Quick Start Guide

Log in with Discord

Go to docket.software/dashboard and click Login With Discord. You will be redirected to Discord to authorize Docket to view your servers.

Docket only requests the permissions it needs. It will never post on your behalf or access your DMs.

Add the bot to your server

After logging in you will see a list of servers where you have Manage Server permission. Click Add Docket Bot next to the server you want to manage.

You will be taken to the Discord bot authorization page. Make sure to keep all the requested permissions checked — Docket needs them to manage channels, assign roles, and send messages.

Open your dashboard and pick your platform

Once the bot is added, click Manage Dashboard on your server. The setup checklist at the top of your Overview asks one question first: is your community a FiveM server or Discord-only. FiveM communities get the live FiveM tab and are pointed straight at the integration.

Let the Server Designer build everything

Open Build > Server Designer in the sidebar. Answer two questions — community type and which features you want — and press Generate. Docket designs your entire server: categories, channels, roles, rules, and welcome embeds.

Review the preview, then press Apply & set up once. Everything is created in Discord and Docket configures itself to use it — ticket alerts, audit logging, the AI channel, auto-mod monitoring, staff roles, and your rules, all wired automatically. Existing channels and roles are never touched.

Invite your staff

In Bot Settings > Staff Roles (or the setup checklist), assign which Discord roles count as staff. Staff can manage tickets, applications, appeals and members — both on the dashboard and with the staff commands in Discord.
