Moderation & Infractions

Every warning, timeout, kick and ban gets a numbered case with the reason, the moderator, and the member's full history — issued from Discord or the dashboard, recorded identically either way.

Issuing punishments

Two equivalent ways:

  • In Discord/punish warn, /punish timeout, /punish kick, /punish ban. Staff only, reason required.
  • On the dashboard — Moderation → Infractions → "Issue a punishment". Pick the member (or paste an ID for someone who already left), the type, and the reason.

Either way the member is notified by DM with the reason, the Discord action (timeout, kick, or ban) is applied, and the case posts to your audit log channel with a case number.

Player history

Every case builds a member's record. Look it up with /punish history @member in Discord, or click any member's name in the Infractions list to filter to their full history. The reply always shows how many active infractions they have — the number staff escalate on.

Voiding a case

Mistakes and successful appeals happen. /punish void case:12 (or the Void button on the dashboard) keeps the case in the record but stops it counting as active. Voiding a ban does not unban — lift the ban in Discord or from an approved appeal.

Audit trail

Punishments post to your audit log channel and into the searchable history under the Punishment issued event — toggle it in Dashboard → Audit Log alongside the other events. Timeouts, kicks and bans also carry the reason into Discord's own audit log.
