Terms of Service

By accessing or using Docket ("the Service"), operated by Docket Software, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By connecting your Discord server, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms.

Docket is an AI-powered community management platform for FiveM, ER:LC and other gaming communities. The Service includes, but is not limited to:

• AI-powered application scoring and review
• Discord bot management and automation
• Ticket system and support management
• Staff performance tracking and analytics
• FiveM and ER:LC platform integrations
• Community profile pages and website builder
• AI training and knowledge base management

To use the Service, you must authenticate via Discord OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

Docket offers a Free plan and three paid plans — Pro ($9.99/month), Custom ($24.99/month) and Enterprise ($49.99/month). Current pricing is always listed at docket.software/pricing. Paid plans are billed on a monthly basis through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Subscribers on a discontinued plan keep the price and features they signed up at until they change plans.

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

If payment fails, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan. You will not lose your data during this period.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or members
• Distribute spam, malware, or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the Service
• Use the Service to facilitate illegal activity
• Impersonate Docket Software or our staff

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

Docket uses AI to score applications, respond to tickets, and assist community management. AI-generated outputs are provided for informational purposes and should not be relied upon as definitive decisions. Final moderation decisions remain the responsibility of your community staff.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing AI recommendations before taking action.

Docket integrates with Discord, FiveM, ER:LC (Police Roleplay Community) and Stripe. By using these integrations, you also agree to the respective terms of service of those platforms. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or actions taken by these third-party services.

Docket provides optional tools that observe gameplay on your game server and, if you enable them, let your staff view a player's game view. These are powerful and easy to misuse. The conditions below are not optional and apply to every community that enables them.

You must tell your players. If you enable evidence capture or live view, you must inform players before they connect that staff may view their gameplay — in your server rules, your connect message, or both. Enabling these features without disclosure is a breach of these Terms and grounds for immediate termination.

You are the data controller. Your players' data belongs to your community, not to us. You decide what to collect, which of your staff may see it, and how long to keep anything you save. We process it on your behalf and by your instruction. If a player asks you to delete something you recorded, that request is yours to answer.

Permitted use only. Live view and recordings may be used solely to investigate suspected rule-breaking on your server. You may not use them to:

• Monitor a player for any reason other than an active moderation concern
• Watch a specific person out of personal interest, grievance, or curiosity
• Gain competitive advantage — observing an opposing faction's activity, for example
• Publish, stream, or share footage outside your staff team without the player's consent
• Collect anything about a player unrelated to their conduct on your server

Access is logged and we may act on it. Every view and recording is permanently recorded — which staff member, which player, when, and for how long. We may review these logs where we receive a complaint, and we may suspend evidence features for a community that misuses them.

Recordings are yours, and so is the liability. Docket does not store evidence footage. If your staff save a recording, that copy exists only on their device and is entirely your responsibility — including its security, its retention, and any claim arising from it. We cannot retrieve, delete, or produce a recording we never held.

No guarantee of detection. Anti-cheat detection is best-effort. Some cheats are undetectable by server-side observation, and evidence capture runs partly on the player's own machine, where a sufficiently advanced cheat can interfere with it. We make no warranty that Docket will detect any particular cheat, and a clean capture is not evidence of innocence any more than a flag is evidence of guilt. Every enforcement decision on your server is yours.

Automatic enforcement is your choice. Docket can automatically kick or ban when a flag threshold is crossed. That setting is off by default and, when you turn it on, the resulting actions are yours, not ours. We strongly recommend running any new detector in shadow mode first.

Third-party dependencies. Evidence capture requires resources published by third parties, which we neither control nor warrant. Their availability may change or be removed by the FiveM platform at any time, and the features that depend on them may stop working as a result.

Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Docket Software, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

"Docket", the Docket logo, "Server Designer", "Server Wrapped", and the docket.software name are trademarks of Docket Software. You may not use them, or confusingly similar marks, in connection with any product or service without our prior written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you any license to our trademarks.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service, including community documents, rules, and SOPs. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to use that content solely to provide the Service to you.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCKET SOFTWARE, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You may cancel your account at any time from your billing dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hampton Roads, Virginia.
